OCTANE + DAVID SWEENEY :: A FRESH MARKET AFFAIR

My sampling: The Oakroom with the Cosmos + Crack In the Sidewalk Salad.

    A SMALL PLATES SPOTLIGHT

Foodies of Atlanta, prepare yourselves for what David Sweeney is dishing. And no, it’s not with Cakes & Ale. . .

Whether you’ve heard it or not, David Sweeney, veteran chef known for his specially crafted dishes at Cakes & Ale (located in Decatur, GA) is now customizing Fresh Market Bites with Octane in Grant Park. Our favorite part: Sweeney is strictly working with hand selected bites from local farmers markets.

WHY WE CARE + WHY YOU SHOULD CARE

Supports local economy . Tastes delicious . May incorporate paleo friendly options

    THE EXPERIENCE

Cosmos + Crack In The Sidewalk Salad

Minzuna, Tat Soy, Shiguru Radish, Cambray Onion, Haas Avocado, Cilantro, Lime – Ginger – Conconut dressing.

And if you’re wondering what Tat Soy is, this spinach mustard is actually spelled tatsoi  and is better known as Rosette Boc Choy.

The Cosmos + Cracks In The Sidewalk Salad is an eloquent ensemble. Crisp in texture with a slight bite. This dish, although modest in size delivers a total impact in taste. Paired with a 21 + Oakroom, specialty crafted cocktail – this small plates experience was a home run. For those of you living or visiting the Atlanta area this summer, visit Octane on Sunday night for the Fresh Market Bites experience. Trust us, you won’t regret it.
